More info

Chrysler introduced the New Yorker DeLuxe in 1940 and it remained one of the company’s most prestigious cars right up until 1996. It was available as a sedan, convertible and a coupé as seen here heralding Oxford’s second release of the New Yorker DeLuxe Coupé St Regis in a two-tone scheme of Desert Sand to the lower body and Canyon Tan to the roof and upper body. The rusty red colour is carried through to the interior dashboard and steering wheel of the car as well while the remaining interior is moulded in ivory, including the seats. Exterior trim including bumpers, grille and wheels is finished in chrome. The grille intakes are black and chrome and the Chrysler badge on the edge of the bonnet is finished in black and silver. Our car is registered in June 1955 in Oregon as F22 581.
