In the 1930s, the Great Western Railway introduced a number of successful railcar vehicles onto their network, which survived in regular use into the 1960s. They experimented with different designs into the 1940s, ending with the GWR Swindon-built batches which featured dual AEC 105 bhp engines. These later designs featured angular bodywork, which contrasted the streamlined bodies of the originals and earned them the "razor edge" nickname. Two of the Swindon-built units still survive in preservation.

This engine is in excellent condition.  There are no marks or blemishes on the bodywork and everything underneath is very clean

We carried out a light service and tested he model and it runs extremely well.
