The Model Figures are wearing work clothes and yellow hard hats typical of eras III and IV. Eras III and IV refer to the period from approx. 1945 to approx. 1990. All the figures are assuming typical working poses. Shunters are also known as shunting staff (or switchers in the US). They couple or uncouple vehicles, secure parked vehicles with wheel chocks and operate points. They hold back uncoupled railway wagons with brake shoes and observe the route. The set is perfect for realistically decorating railway stations and depots on model railway layouts.
The set contains six handpainted Shunters for TT gauge (1:120 scale, approx. 1.5 cm high).
Detailed plastic miniature figures, furniture and accessories which have been carefully painted by hand.
Are you choosing figures for an arts and crafts project?
It may surprise you to know that the average size of a TT gauge figure is just 1.2 cm tall, not so great for larger arts and crafts projects. Be careful not to confuse with N gauge figures, which are a little smaller (1cm tall only).
