HO Windmills

Plastic kit of two wooded-framed windmills and accessories, in HO gauge by Woodland Scenics (OO gauge compatible).

Whether you are modelling the Australian outback, the deserted deserts and canyons of America or a farm in the Great British countryside, these windmills will look great and add an interesting feature to your diorama. These types of windmills are used in rural locations to pump water from an underground well to replenish drinking troughs for farmland animals. For those days when there is no wind, a hand pump can often be found nearby to manually get the job done.

The kit will build two windmills, two oblong stock tanks, a hand pump, a trough, a round stock tank and a hay rack (with hay). The windmills are designed to portray one in near perfect condition and one that has seen better says with broken blades.

The kit requires assembly and painting (paints not included). Once built, each windmill has a footprint of approximately 30 x 30 mm and a height of 130 mm.
