BR Iron Ore Tippler 1/185 - OO unpainted plastic kit

Require glue, paint and transfers to complete.

1,000 of these wagons were built in 1960/61 to carry both imported and home produced iron ore. Changes in the steel industry saw them transfered to other traffics, most commonly stone in the early 1970s. Some were taken into the Civil Engineers fleet where a few still remain (1999)

This finely moulded plastic wagon kit comes complete with pin point axle wheels and bearings. Glue and paint will be required, along with appropriate transfers. Additional parts to enable the vehicle to be modelled incorporating modifications made to the prototypes during their working life are included where appropriate.

Comes with metal wheels. Coupling required.
