HAMPTON Kerr Stuart 0-4-2T Loco kit

In 1915 three 2ft gauge locomotives were built for the Hampton Water works system of the Metropolitan Water Board.

They hauled coal from wharves on the River Thames to the boiler houses until the railway was closed.

Named 'Hampton', 'Kempton' and 'Sunbury', they were resplendent with polished brass dome, safety valves and boiler bands.

Although the locos have all been scrapped, efforts are being made to re-open the railway with alternative motive power.

This whitemetal kit is designed to fit the Bachmann 0-4-0 chassis, the Ibertren Cuckoo chassis or the Fleishmann 0-4-0T.

N-Drive Productions now produce a new ready to run chassis suitable for this kit.

The kit includes pony wheel, handrails and coupling blocks.
