One simple way to add variety to your goods wagon fleet is to build some from the many kits on offer. To do so will also add some fun and satisfaction into to your modelling activities. This kit from Peco builds into a 15ft wheelbase tank wagon of the type with a smooth outer casing. These were insulated tanks and were used to carry liquids that needed to be kept cool, such as milk or where heating was required to make the flow. Examples of the latter are bitumen and viscous oils. In common with the other Peco N gauge wagon kits, everything is included except glue, paint and transfers. The body is one-piece, as is the chassis block, making for quick assembly for which instructions are included. A suitable glue for construction is DLAD-24 Plastic Magic. For paint choose one of the many authentic rail colours from Railmatch to suit your chosen prototype. Finish off with transfers from the range by Woodland Scenics.
