A set of six hand-painted figures all in standing poses. There are five female figures and one male, there is a diverse age group and dressing styles. All are presented as if they were on the balcony of a building or perhaps passing over a bridge overlooking proceedings below. All are engaged in that timeless occupation of just watching the world go by. Two of the ladies are busy waving at colleagues or friends passing by. This set would be ideally suited to populating any scene where there is a requirement for figures to be elevated so they can be observing proceedings below. A first-floor balcony or window would be well suited, as would a bridge where pedestrians could be chatting with friends below or observing a busy station scene from above.
