A plastic kit of a Midland Region express Clerestory composite coach, by Parkside Models in OO gauge.
Built between 1898 and 1902 by the Midland Railway, these elegant non-corridor coaches were used for express routes chiefly in the Yorkshire West Riding area.
Some survived as departmental vehicles until the outbreak of the Second World War, whilst others were grounded.
This model is supplied as a plastic kit that requires assembly and painting. Features include moulded coach sides and roof, underframe details, plastic buffers, wheels and couplings and glazing (supplied by the clear packaging).
