A plastic kit of a Midland Region Clerestory coach, by Parkside Models in OO gauge.
Built between 1898 and 1902 by the Midland Railway, these elegant non-corridor coaches were used for express routes chiefly in the Yorkshire West Riding area.
Some survived at departmental vehicles until the outbreak of the Second World War, whilst others were grounded (kit 519). 6 x 3rd compartments with lavatory & luggage compartments.
The model is supplied as a plastic kit that requires assembly and painting. Features include moulded wall and roof parts, underframe details, glazing (supplied by the outer packaging) and plastic buffers, couplings and wheels. Instructions are included to help with the build.
