These large round hay bales, also known as rolls, are a common sight on farms that have cattle or other animals to feed. Round bales are usually found on larger farms as the size and weight of them requires heavy-duty equipment to make and transport them. These types of bale can often be seen stored for the winter months in farmyards and barns.
