Historical Background: The HMS Warspite, a British battleship from the Queen Elizabeth class, was launched in 1913 and served in the Royal Navy from 1915. Measuring 195 meters in length and displacing 33,400 tons, Warspite could reach a top speed of 25 knots. Its formidable armament included eight 381 mm guns and a range of secondary weapons. This class of battleship was pivotal in naval history, known as "super-dreadnoughts" for their advanced firepower and speed. Warspite fought in major naval engagements, including the Battle of Jutland in World War I and the Battle of Cape Matapan during World War II. After a distinguished career, the ship was decommissioned and scrapped in 1946.
