Trumpeter HMS Queen Elizabeth 1918 Battleship in 1:700 Scale. Comprehensive pictorial Instructions are included together with a small amount of photo-etch parts and decals.
HMS Queen Elizabeth was the lead ship of a class of 5 Battleships and was commissioned into the Royal Navy in December 1914. Part of the High Seas Fleet she participated in the Dardanelles campaign but missed the Battle of Jutland in 1916 as she was under maintenance. She became flagship of the Grand Fleet in 1917 and the kit depicts her as she was in 1918.
During WWII she was active with the Home Fleet, in the Mediterranean and with the British Pacific Fleet. She was decommissioned after the war and scrapped in 1948.
The kit includes 6 plastic sprues and either full hull or waterline options for the build. There is also a display stand with decals and a small photo-etch sprue to add extra detail.
Approximate measurements for the completed kit are:
Length 281 mm
Beam 40 mm
