In more recent years, the clear-cut lines between buses and coaches have become blurred a little as buses get more luxurious and are sometimes used for longer-distance routes, these vehicles are often labelled as dual-purpose vehicles and appear aesthetically more like a bus but are subject to coach regulations. The only way to truly distinguish between some buses and coaches these days is the presence of a boot for luggage, if it has one, it was designed as a coach.
