Trumpeter Supermarine Seafang F.Mk.32. The Seafang represented the ultimate development of the famous Supermarine Spitfire. Designed as a carrier-borne fighter, it was equipped with an arrestor hook, folding wings and contra-rotating propellers.
Although trials were conducted in the late 1940's, the Seafang was quickly rendered obsolete by newer and more powerful jet aircraft then in development and only 18 were built.
