Each model kit comes with decals specific to the prototype and assembly instructions to help with the build.
One of the most vital roles played by the Spitfire in the Second World War was reconnaissance, the Mk.IXC particularly saw action leading up to the Normandy Landings, carrying out reconnaissance needed for allied troops. These Spitfires were painted pink, designed to camouflage them against early morning and late evening sun.
