Ginger Lacey was an English pilot in the RAF from the beginning of WWII, considered somewhat an ace, he was the highest scoring pilot from the Battle of Britain. It was during his time in Japan that Ginger Lacey received one of the British built Mk.XIVe Spitfires, which he went on to use during the push to take the war back over to Japanese territory. This model represents the very plane flown by flying legend Ginger Lacey.
